Here at the Last Link, we're fond of fonts. A recent New York Times article brought our attention errors in font use in the movies.
Who would keep track of such things?
At his site, Mark Simonson examines the typeface used in movies such as "Chocolat," "Ed Wood" and "L.A. Confidential."
The NYT article used as illustration the innapropriate use of Helvetica in the movie "Good Night, and Good Luck." It seems the CBS News sign featured in the film uses the typeface years before it was designed.
