Soldier found dead at CFB Edmonton


The Canadian Forces National Investigation Unit looked into the case of a man's death at the Edmonton Garrison on the same day another Edmonton soldier was buried.

Missing: John Victor Cantwell


Edmonton police have asked for the public’s help in locating an 84-year-old man who suffers from dementia.


John Victor Cantwell

John Victor Cantwell walked away from his west-end residence near 172nd Street and 99th Avenue at around 5:00 p.m. on March 8th, 2008.


Cantwell was described as a white male, 5-feet 5-inches, approximately 110 lbs with gray hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, tan pants, brown shoes with a blue and purple winter coat. He also uses a red, four-wheeled walker.

As Cantwell suffers from dementia, he may not remember who he is.

Missing: Lorilee Mae Francis


On December 27th, 2007 24-year-old Lorilee Mae Francis was reported missing by her family.
