Human remains found near Vegreville


On November 3rd, 2007 Vegreville RCMP responded to a complaint of partial skeletal remains discovered in a wooded area approximately 25 kilometers west of Vegreville. Investigators are revealing little about the manner and cause of death of the person.

Charred body found in dumpster


Fire crews were called to the south end of the Greyhound Bus station building at 103rd Street and 102A Avenue at about 5:30 a.m. November 22nd, 2007 to attend to garbage bin engulfed in flames.

Police were called in to investigate the discovery of a body found just north of the downtown area.
