Jason Freedom Adam, 29, was last seen October 21st, 2007.


The Edmonton police homicide section is investigating the file as foul play is suspected.


If the case of Adams is found to be one of murder, he would be the thirty-fourth homicide victim of the year.


Case status is open and active.



Edmonton police have asked for the public's assistance in locating a 29-year-old man missing since October 21st, 2007. The man lived in Lac La Biche but was visiting Edmonton at the time of his disappearance.

Jason Adam's disappearance was considered to be unusual, and his family and police were concerned for his well being. He was last seen outside the Shaw Conference Centre downtown.


Adam was described as a Native male, approximately 5-feet 7-inches tall, 128 lbs and with short black hair. He was last seen wearing black runners, blue jeans, black jacket, a ball cap and glasses.

On June 19th, 2008 Edmonton police announced the matter was being investigated by homicide detectives as foul play was susected. No further details were released.
